Ragtime (1981) review

 

I decided to revisit this film after not seeing it for many years. As a teenager, I developed a strong fascination with ragtime music and the first two decades of the 20th century after seeing this film and "Pretty Baby". Main Street at Disneyland and Scott Joplin's music were two other contributors. I was not a normal teenager.
