Ciabatta

 I found this recipe from a YouTube channel named "Apron". I like it because it is so simple and the results are great.


320mL warm water

1/2 tsp yeast

30mL olive oil

400g bread flour

8g salt


Mix everything together. Let proof for 40 minutes. Do about three stretch and folds every 40 minutes to an hour. Divide into to rectangles. Heat the oven to 450F degrees and let the dough proof again for 40 minutes. Add a cast iron pan filled with boiling water to the bottom rack of oven. Spritz the dough with water and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
