Chicken Stock
This is one of my favorite things to eat and make. It's simple and the results are extremely rewarding. You'll never get this flavor from store bough chicken stock. I've found that the best rotisserie chicken is from Whole Foods. Sprouts rotisserie chicken is not good.
1 rotisserie chicken bones and skin (remove all the chicken meat)
2 sticks celery
1 onion (cut into 1/8ths)
1 carrot
filtered water (boiled)
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Place celery, onion and carrot in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add chicken bones and skin. Add enough boiled filtered water to barely cover the chicken pieces. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours. Filter through a sieve and add salt.
