Overnight Yeasted Waffles

 

Overnight Mix

  • 240 g all‑purpose flour
  • 160 g whole milk
  • 120 g water
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp diamond kosher salt
  • ½ tsp yeast

Whisk until smooth. It should look like loose pancake batter, not soup.

Cover loosely and leave at room temperature overnight (8–12 hours).


Next Morning Add‑Ins

  • 2 large eggs
  • 85 g butter, melted (browned if you want extra flavor)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
